Star is settling well into life in North Waikato and is slowly getting used to life on a lifestyle block with cats, chickens and goats. She enjoys morning walks with Dylan the Huntaway and Ally the German Shepherd, and visits with Rose another GAP greyhound who lives in our village. Most of the day is spent lying on her bed in the home office while we get on with the hard work. Star’s favourite toys are half ripe fallen Tamarillos that she loves to chase and kick around the garden, she also tracks down unattended bananas and bread – more a sniffer hound than a sight hound! This weekend we’re off to our first dog obedience class which we are all looking forward to. Star loves to practice recall training (loves the treats!) so I’m sure class will go well! We love having Star living with us, and she has already won many admirers as she is very friendly but also very relaxed in company
