Porter's doing great. As soon as he stepped in the door he jumped on the couch and made himself right at home. Overall his (my?) training is going well. He walks beautifully next to me on a lead once the excitement dies down after a couple of minutes. He picked up his new name very quickly, though I guess Porter does sound somewhat similar to Honda. He's very good at coming to me when I call his name, unless he's too comfy on the couch! I think he likes it when I fall asleep on the couch in front of TV on a Saturday night, I usually wake up with a greyhounds head resting on my lap. If I'm not there to sleep with him he's sure to have one of his toys under his chin. Porter seems to love his new home and we all love having him here.
