Wiggle

Firstly, we renamed our Wiggle Maggie, as I’d feel a bit self-conscious calling out ‘Wiggle’ in Newtown! She’s settling in well, and, after the initial period where they would stand there like a couple of gunslingers eyeing each other up, there have been surprisingly few histrionics between her and our cat Ally; just the odd hiss and passive-aggressive waft of the tail. Maggie is getting a bit bolder with the cat, and the cat is getting used to having a lumbering great dog around. That said, Ally is still the boss; last weekend she managed to trap the dog outside in the rain for 10 minutes by sitting in the back doorway staring at her and refusing to let her pass. She’s almost as resentful of having to go for a walk at 7am as I am, but she bounces along non the less. She attracts a fair bit of attention walking around Newtown and the park; every time we walk past the TAB, I keep expecting someone to recognise her! She does get a bit nervous if there are too many people or dogs around when we’re out and about, but I expect that will pass. Other than that, she’s fine, eating well, doing her best to keep our flower beds well fertilised and generally lazing around! See more pictures of gorgeous Wiggle on Greyhounds Blog!
