Update on Coco (Just Teasing)

"My name is now Coco but I used to be known as Beauty. I have been in my forever home for two years now. I was very timid when I first came here but now I am a very confident girl.

I have a big, soft, squishy bed with my own blanket and pillow but I prefer to sleep on my mum and dad's bed, but only when they are not in it. I have my very own toy basket filled with heaps of toys to keep my company when they are at work and I don't have to share them.

I am very spoiled and go for lots of walks down to the lake where I like to wade around, I have a big yard to play in and I love to do zoomies. Mum and dad take me in the car too and I really enjoy that, even when we're going to the vet.

Mum and dad work so I am at home on my own four days per week but I don't mind because when I hear the car I bark at them to say hello and they give me heaps of pats and cuddles.I am very happy in my forever home.€

We asked Nic why she chose a greyhound and she told us, "Iain had a greyhound in Aussie that he adopted through GAP so we know they are big gentle giants. I love their nature, so calm and relaxed.

"Adopting through GAP was great as our girl was perfectly matched to us and our lifestyle, which is great for us and for her. Also the idea of showing a dog that there is a whole other lifestyle away from racing is something I am very pleased to be a part of.

"I just adore greyhounds and rave to anyone about what a fantastic pet they make. I would give up a lung before I would give up our girl!!

"Thank you and all the other staff and volunteers that make the GAP programme possible.€

Just Teasing was also from Australia. She raced 63 times and won just over $7,000 in stake money
